Development and Validation of a Testing Procedure to Estimate Hot-Mix Asphalt In-Situ Properties

About the project

The objective of this program of research is to develop test methods that will accurately and reliably measure HMA mixture properties. These test methods will be highly correlated to the occurance of pavement distress over a perse range of traffic and environmental conditions. VDOT will be able to use these test methods for design purposes and for quality control.
