About the project:
VDOT Class A4 concrete mixtures containing Hycrete DSS will be evaluated to determine the performance of the mixtures with respect to mechanical properties, alkali silica reaction and corrosion of reinforcement. The admixture has the potential to compete with pozzolonic materials, corrosion inhibiting admixtures and alternative reinforcement for extending the life of concrete structures.
