About the project:

The purpose of this research is to develop a procedure to identify high risk signalized intersections in Virginia in terms of all crashes, and specific types of crashes, under various intersection conditions. The scope of this project is limited to evaluations of signalized intersections in the Northern Virginia district. 

 

Analysis methods and techniques will lead to the development of crash estimation models and a user's guide for field implementation.
