A Determination of the Actual Costs to VDOT of Land Development Review – Phase II

About the project:

The purpose of this project is to determine how much it costs VDOT to review traffic impact documents (TISs, TIAs, etc.) in accordance with the procedures in regulations and guidance material that is based upon the mandates in Chapter 527 of the 2006 Acts of the General Assembly of Virginia.  The cost will be derived by analyzing three months of data collected by VDOT staff, beginning July 1, 2007.  The data will be analyzed and a report written and submitted to the Chapter 527 implementation team.  The collection of VDOT land development review data will continue indefinitely and it is probable that the costs of VDOT land development review will continue to be studied after this effort is concluded.
