TMC Applications of Archived Data Operational Test

About the project:

TMC Applications of Archived Data Operational Test is a project sponsored under a grant from FHWA. The intent of the effort is to take the vast amounts of data collected by ITS systems, archive that data, and make it available to users for various purposes. In addition, tools will be developed to allow users to derive additional information from the data in the archive. For example, authorized users will be able to perform standard queries on the data at their specified levels of temporal and spatial aggregation. Beyond basic queries, a service that derives defined mobility performance measures will be developed. Additional tools will assist in incident management functions, transportation planning activities, transit planning, environmental modeling, and evacuation and detour planning. Users will access the system, dubbed “ADMS Virginia” through a standard web interface.
