About the project

class="MsoPlainText" style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt">This proposed research would continue the development and implementation of a continuous data-based pavement friction management (PFM) program by exploring use of other important pavement characteristics and applying the program to a larger geographic region, the Corridors of Statewide Significance (CoSS) - a targeted network selected by VDOT that includes 2,169 miles of pided interstate along with 4,637 miles of pided and four-lane unpided primary routes.
