Evaluation of Cargill SafeLane Epoxy Overlay

About the project:

The latest development in polymer overlays is the Cargill SafeLane overlay. The overlay is unique in that the aggregate absorb and store liquid deicing chemicals and the chemicals reduce the accumulation of ice and snow on the surface of the overlay. In addition to the typical benefit of an epoxy overlay of extending the life of a deck, the Cargill overlay has the potential to reduce snow and ice related accidents on the deck.
