About the project:

The objective of these demonstration and evaluation projects is to determine the extent to which rationally established, well-publicized, and rigorously enforced speed limits lead to higher compliance and improved safety. Potential benefits are; a procedure (or guidelines) for establishing rational speed limit, lessons learned on the implementation of public education and information (PE&I) and law enforcement for the rationally established posted speed limits.
