Promoting Eligibility and Participation
When the need arises the Virginia Transportation Research Council (VTRC) posts research needs statements (RNS) on this site for consideration by and response from our Virginia university partners.
If you would like to be added to the mailing list we use to announce the posting of new RNSs please send your name, university affiliation, and email address to Bill.Kelsh@VDOT.Virginia.gov indicating your interest in participating in our program. Please consult the documents in the paragraph below for eligibility requirements and other information about this process.
Be sure to download and review the VTRC Contract Research Needs Program Participation Requirements and Policies document for details on eligibility requirements and how to participate in the program. Additionally, there are two forms (referenced and explained in the "Guidance" document) that are required to be made part of each expression of interest: EOI Schedule Template and EOI Budget Template.
