About the team

The Office of Strategic Innovation (OSI) drives the adoption of new approaches and technologies within VDOT. Working with both internal and external partners, OSI guides the development and delivery of innovative solutions. Its mission is to accelerate the identification, testing, implementation and scaling of innovations through strategic partnerships, processes and tools—ensuring VDOT can effectively maintain and advance Virginia’s transportation system for the future.
