The Research Council staff conduct projects internally and also coordinate research being conducted by other organizations on behalf of the Virginia Department of Transportation.

VDOT Research Library
The library promotes research excellence and innovation by helping all VDOT employees locate the right information at the right time and in the right format. The VDOT Research Library is located at the VTRC in Charlottesville, but serves all of VDOT.
